Lawrence C. Day
President and
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Day has been the Company's Chief Executive Officer since October 1999 and President since October 1998. Mr. Day served as the Company's Chief Operating Officer from the time he joined the Company in April 1998 until his election as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Day was an Executive Vice President of the Company prior to his election as President.

Mr. Day was President and Chief Executive Officer of Monro Muffler and Brake, Inc. from 1995 to 1998. Prior to joining Monro in 1993, Mr. Day was Vice President of Montgomery Ward's Auto Express Division. His experience in the tire industry includes 13 years in a series of managerial positions with the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company.





















 
Orland M. Wolford
President and CEO, Tire Kingdom
With experience in the tire industry dating back to 1969, Orland Wolford accepted the position of President and CEO of Tire Kingdom when TBC acquired that tire retailer in June 2000. In his position, Mr. Wolford is responsible for all company-operated retail operations, including those of National Tire & Battery and Merchant’s Tire & Auto Centers, in addition to Tire Kingdom.
John B. Adams
President and CEO, Big O Tires
A 22-year employee of Big O Tires, John Adams has served as its President since June 2000. Mr. Adams was Big O's Executive Vice President from 1990 to 2000, and was the CFO from 1988 to 1996. Mr. Adams regularly meets with Big O's franchised dealers to get first-hand knowledge of their business needs, from product and supply issues to financing requirements and expansion opportunities.
Kenneth P. Dick
President and CEO, TBC Wholesale Division
Ken Dick has served TBC in managerial and executive positions since 1971, and was named President and CEO of the Company's Wholesale Division, which includes TBC Private Brands and Carroll Tire, in November 2003. Through his years of experience, Mr. Dick has developed a keen understanding of the needs of independent tire dealers and the role that TBC plays in meeting those unique needs.
J. Glenn Gravatt
Executive Vice President of Purchasing
Having served as a key member of TBC's management team since 1984, Glen Gravatt became Executive Vice President of Purchasing in November 2003. Mr. Gravatt is responsible for overseeing all the Company's relationships with tire suppliers and for helping ensure that the tires marketed by TBC keep pace with the rapid changes in performance, driving preferences, and automotive trends.
