(October 13, 2025) – Big O Tires, an industry-leading tire and automotive repair franchisor and subsidiary of TBC Corporation, today announced that more than $1 million in scholarships have been awarded through the company’s Big O Tires Scholarship Fund since its inception in 2003. Now in its 22nd year of giving, the scholarship fund has provided more than 450 students with financial assistance to help them further their education to reach new personal and professional goals.
The Big O Tires Scholarship Fund supports franchise owners and their immediate family members and employees, plus Big O Tires corporate team members, and is made possible through donations from franchisees and Big O Tires, LLC. Scholarship recipients are selected based on a number of criteria, including academic record, extracurricular participation, financial need and more. This year alone, the fund provided scholarships to 47 students totaling $141,500.
