South Florida Employer of Choice Increases Support to Build Talent Pipeline
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (April 21, 2025) – TBC Corporation, a leader in the mobility industry and one of North America’s largest marketers of automotive replacement tires through wholesale and franchise operations, recently expanded opportunities for students at Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College (PBSC), two higher learning institutions located near TBC’s headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Florida Atlantic University’s College of Business recently celebrated the naming of the TBC Corporation Study Room, in recognition of a generous gift from TBC to support innovative college programs and activities for students. TBC will provide guest speakers and co-host networking events to inform students about internship and career opportunities. Located in the Executive Education Building in the Schmidt Family Complex in Boca Raton, Florida, the TBC Corporation Study Room primarily provides a space for students, but the college also uses it for events, including breakout sessions for conferences and meeting rooms for external events.

TBC also recently presented five scholarships, totaling $15,000, to Palm Beach State College students who have completed their Associate of Science degree and wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree in supervision and management at PBSC. The scholarships were presented at PBSC’s Academic Excellence & Student Service Awards ceremony, and will provide financial assistance to students preparing for careers in entrepreneurship, general management, project management or business management. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must demonstrate financial need, maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 and meet program requirements.
