Midas Proudly Announces Sponsorship of 2024 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – February 5, 2024 – Midas, a subsidiary of Palm Beach Gardens-based TBC Corporation and one of the world’s largest providers of automotive services, will proudly serve as the Founders Club Partner for this year’s Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. TBC Corporation has been a sponsor of the PGA TOUR’s long-running South Florida event for 15 years. The Classic will return to PGA National Resort’s Champion Course the week of February 26 – March 3.

As the Founders Club Partner, Midas will be the exclusive sponsor of Family Day on Saturday, March 2. One of the fan-favorite components of this day is the distribution of giant golf balls to the first 1,500 children through the gates to use for autographs from their favorite pros. In addition, there will be interactive games and activities throughout the day for all to enjoy. With children ages 15 and under able to access the grounds for free, Midas Family Day will provide the perfect way for spectators of all ages to experience the PGA TOUR.

“We’re proud to continue to support the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, which typically attracts more than 200,000 spectators each year to Palm Beach County and supports philanthropic organizations throughout South Florida,” said Don Byrd, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer for TBC Corporation. “As the exclusive Founders Club Partner, we’re excited to help promote the growth of this tournament and show support in a community where we live and do business.”

In addition, Midas will recognize and show appreciation for the men and women who have served or are currently serving our country, as a Military Appreciation Program Pillar Partner. With help from sponsors like Midas, the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches offers complimentary tickets for Active Duty, Reservists, Retirees, their registered Dependents and Non-Retired Veterans, Thursday through Sunday of tournament week. Midas is proud to support veterans year-round by offering a reduction in the company’s franchise fee to qualified veterans.
